Citizens Groups Challenge King Township’s Approval of a LTC Facility on the Greenbelt

After a great deal of deliberation, research, and investigation, the coalition formed between Concerned Citizens of King Township (CCKT) and Save the Oak Ridges Moraine (STORM) have filed a request for an investigation under the Ontario Environmental Bill of Rights to review

the approvals issued by King Township to allow the construction of St. Rita

at Mary Lake.

If we could downsize the number of beds at St. Rita's to 35 beds. And push for an added location in King City. The area where Eva L Denis was removed is one area or where the old seniors center is and the old arena. I think both of these places are good choices because the seniors would be close to the hub of the people of King City.
